Hello
My name is Lynn Harris. I am a dedicated mother, a full-time professional, and now—proudly—an author. Writing has always been my passion, and I am thrilled to finally bring my stories to life. I aspire to create a diverse collection of books and series for readers of all ages.
My debut series, The Magical Zoo, introduces readers to a whimsical world of animal friends embarking on enchanting adventures. I am currently developing a new series titled The Secret Adventures, which follows children as they travel to different countries, meet new friends, and learn about the world around them.
In addition, I am exploring ideas in the Young Adult and Adult fiction genres. Stay tuned—there’s much more to come!
My Story
I was born and raised in Southern California and continue to live in the Pasadena area. I attended the University of Southern California, where I earned degrees in Business, Biology, and Spanish. While I took a few writing classes during college, it wasn’t until after becoming a parent that I truly began pursuing my passion for writing.
To build my skills and confidence, I enrolled in writing courses through UCLA Extension. In 2023, I proudly published my first children’s book, followed by my second in 2024. With this growing momentum, I hope to one day turn my love for writing into a full-time career.
